Key responsibilities

1. Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of daily settlements in fiat and cryptocurrencies among various international counterparties
2. Operate different kinds of crypto wallets and user interfaces
3. Warrant the correct and timely distribution of documents and messages among all parties involved in the settlement process
4. Ensure proper liquidity management
5. Handling SWIFT instructions
6. Open accounts for newly onboarded clients
7. Manage DVP (Delivery Versus Payment) and FoP (Free of Payment) settlements in line with industry standards
8. Implement operational best practices
9. Ensure financial operations are at current technical standards, and that tasks can be executed in an operator-friendly and efficient manner
10. Work in close cooperation with other team members, including traders
11. Demonstrate a proactive interest in blockchain technology, staying informed on developments and applying relevant innovations to operational processes

Requirements

1. Experienced working in operations at a financial institution, preferably in a small team
2. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in combination with a proactive or hands-on mentality and eagerness to focus on the specifics
3. Structured method of working and comfortable managing multiple priorities
4. Ability to work effectively within a team, and willingness to take on responsibility and work independently
5. Analytic and result-oriented thinking
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills
7. Knowledge of crypto assets and related processes
8. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and German
9. Ability to handle database queries and VBA / Python skills are a plus
