Summary

The Junior Finance & Accounting Manager will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, with a strong focus on handling payments, managing expenses, and ensuring financial accuracy in both fiat and crypto transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional finance and Web3 technologies.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor employee expenses and reimbursements; enforce expense policies
2. Process and track outgoing payments in both fiat and cryptocurrency
3. Work with our external tax and financial accountants
4. Track cash flow and manage short-term liquidity
5. Help manage vendor relationships and contracts
6. Assist with onboarding new tools and systems to automate and streamline financial processes

Requirements

1. One or more years of experience in a finance, accounting, or admin role (start-up or tech environment preferred)
2. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
3. Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with Google/Microsoft office products
4. Good communication and organizational skills (English required, German nice to have)
5. Nice to Have: Experience working in a crypto/ Web3, or fintech company; Working knowledge of financial principles and accounting systems
