Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Crypto and Payments Partnerships Lead to drive strategic partnerships and growth initiatives for Coins.xyz in Brazil. This role focuses on expanding our ecosystem through collaborations in exchange services, Over-the-Counter (OTC) trading, and payment gateway clients for seamless fiat-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat on-ramps and off-ramps. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the fintech and/or crypto sectors, with a proven track record of forging high-impact partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and clients to increase trading volumes, and expand market share
 - Track partnership performance metrics, such as revenue growth, user onboarding rates, and transaction volumes, and provide regular reports to senior management.
 - Lead negotiations and deal structuring for collaborations in core areas, including spot and futures exchange services, OTC trading desks for institutional clients, and payment gateway solutions to facilitate efficient on-ramps (fiat to crypto) and off-ramps (crypto to fiat).
 - Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new business opportunities, staying ahead of trends in Brazil's crypto regulatory landscape (e.g., compliance with CVM and BACEN guidelines).
 - Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Legal, and Compliance) to ensure partnerships align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
 - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums in Brazil and Latin America to promote our services.
 
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced certifications (e.g., in fintech or blockchain) preferred.
 - 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industry.
 - Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including exchange operations, OTC trading, and payment gateways.
 - Strong knowledge of Brazil's financial regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols.
 - Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, with a track record of driving revenue through partnerships.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
 - Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and data analytics platforms.
 - Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
 - Willingness to travel within Brazil as needed.
