Job Summary:
We’re seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Associate to join OKZOO’s fast-growing team. This role is perfect for someone eager to dive into the Web3 space, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to the growth of a groundbreaking project. As a key member of our business development team, you’ll support outreach, relationship management, and go-to-market strategies to onboard partners, institutions, and communities into the OKZOO ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential partners, including DeFi platforms, IoT-focused companies, crypto exchanges, and institutional players, to expand OKZOO’s network.
- Client Outreach & Management: Conduct research and cold outreach to targeted stakeholders, manage leads, and nurture long-term relationships with partners and clients.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of Web3, DeFi, AI, and IoT industry trends to inform business development strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials to communicate OKZOO’s value proposition to prospective partners.
- Community Engagement: Represent OKZOO at virtual and in-person industry events, conferences, and meetups to build brand awareness and foster community connections.
- Strategy Contribution: Work closely with the leadership team to shape OKZOO’s go-to-market strategy and refine business development processes.
- Data Tracking: Maintain and update CRM systems to track partnerships, leads, and outreach progress, ensuring alignment with team goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role; experience in Web3, crypto, or blockchain.
- Basic understanding of Web3, blockchain, DeFi, and/or IoT ecosystems, with a willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and platforms like LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord for outreach.
- Passion for decentralization, innovation, and the potential of Web3 technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Web3 communities, crypto exchanges, or tokenized ecosystems.
- Existing network in the crypto/Web3 space or familiarity with platforms like Twitter, Discord, or Telegram for community engagement.
- Knowledge of AI or IoT applications in a business or technical context.
